I’d like to extend my warmest welcome to all prospective sixth formers! Here at Great Oaks, we are very proud of our post-16 record of individual success and that Ofsted rated us ‘Outstanding’ for Personal Development.

Our Small School approach will ensure that you are on the right path. We do this by creating a supportive and inclusive environment where learners can develop their skills and qualifications while gaining the confidence to successfully transition into further education, training or employment.  We do this though our bespoke curriculum pathways that cater for students of any academic level, from Entry Level Certificates, through GCSEs and A-Levels.

We construct a personalised timetable each student and provide access to a professional careers advisor. While our experienced Pastoral & SEND teams will help ensure you are happy, secure and able to succeed.

We are very fortunate that our sixth form is situated in the heart of Discovery Park, a science and business park, only minutes from our lower school site at Ebbsfleet Farmhouse and is located 2 miles outside of the historic town of Sandwich.  This means students can access facilities available on site, from a variety of food outlets to a games room complete with pool table, putting green, chill-out area, table tennis table and retro gaming machine.  The proximity to the lower-school farmhouse also allows students to attend whole school events such as, performance and prize-giving and to access curriculum areas like Forest school, music and cooking.
