Online Safety

Online safety is an essential part of safeguarding

The school aims to ensure that all students and staff are protected from harm, including online.

Online Safety is embedded throughout our curriculum as well as being explicitly taught through PSHE, SMSC and Computing Programmes to raise awareness and promote safe and responsible internet use amongst students, covering use both at school and home. We ensure that education regarding safe and responsible use precedes internet access. We reinforce online safety messages whenever technology or the internet is in use and support our students in being critically aware of the materials they read and show them how to validate information before accepting its accuracy.
